Contract award to Servelec Education Ltd of Mosaic social care system

The Strategic Director of Finance and Governance, in consultation with the Cabinet Members for Health and Adult Social Care, Children and Education, and Finance and Commercial Services, is asked to

1.1.       Approve the direct award of a call-off contract to Servelec Education Limited via the CCS DAS Framework under Lot 1b: Workflow and Case Management Solutions for a maximum total cost as set out in Appendix 1 for a period of five years.

1.2.       Approve the value of the contract up to £360,000 annually, and £1,800,000 over the full five-year term, to be contained within the existing operational budget of IT Services.

1.3.       Approve the implementation cost of £12,200 for the disaggregation of the shared service Family Information Service to be offset against the first year savings.

1.4.       Note the annual savings in Appendix 1.

1.5.       Note that the DAS framework contract allows for a two-year extension. If this is required in the future, approval will be sought from the Strategic Director of Finance and Governance, in consultation with the Cabinet Members for Health and Adult Social Care, Children and Education, and Finance and Commercial Services.
