This report seeks approval from the Cabinet
Member of Public Realm to accept the grant of £1,158,000 from
Transport for London and to create associated income, capital and
revenue budgets. All projects identified in the report align with
the Mayors Transport Strategy and work towards progressing
Hammersmith and Fulham Council’s local air quality, public
health and transport priorities.

Decision:
1. To approve the proposed programmes of works.
2. To delegate authority to the Executive Director of Place to modify the programme, associated projects and funding allocation, within the parameters of the Mayors Transport Strategy, LIP, local policy priorities and TfL LIP funding conditions.
3. To call off the Council’s existing Highways term contract and/or Ealing Framework to undertake the proposed works as required (within the funding available).
4. To note, Cycle Network Development (CND) funding is currently being negotiated and that the eventual final allocation to be delegated to the Executive Director of Place to allocate based on Council priorities.

This report recommends that a PSPO is introduced across the borough, to reduce incidents of harassment that cause distress and alarm to people who live, work, or visit the Hammersmith & Fulham. This in line with the council’s commitment to ending violence against women and girls. It is proposed that this Order remains in force for a period of three years.
