The Reserve Forces and Cadets Association in Greater London

Description

The Reserve Forces and Cadets Association assumed its current name from 1st April 2000 from TAVRA, which stood for Territorial Auxiliary and Volunteer Reserve Association. Reserve Forces & Cadets are the successors of the county Associations, which were set up by the Act of Parliament in 1908 to provide administrative support for the Territorial Force. The Association has one hundred and ninety voluntary members representing all units, the cadet forces, local authorities and various elements of the community, who conduct business through a series of committees.
