Decision maker: Leader of the Council Decision: Not before 27th Nov 2017 Lead officer: Sarah Reardon, Henry Porter Decision status: Recommendations Approved Notice of proposed decision first published: 21/11/2017 Reason for urgency: The Family Support Services deliver critical services to children, families and young people. The current contracts are due to expire in February 2018, and new contract arrangements from this point are essential for the effective mobilisation of the Family Support Service and the associated transfer of Early Help services from the Council. Due to the mandatory standstill period, and the time required to enter into Framework Agreement, to conduct mini-competitions and mobilisation to ensure the services are fully operational to support children, families and young people, an Urgent Decision is required.
