Issue details

Public realm improvements associated with the Civic Campus development (Section 278 Highway Works). The improvements are proposed on King Street between Holcombe Road and Dalling Road and on Studland Street between King Street and Felgate Mews. The improvements comprise widened block-paved footways, new cycle facilities, new and improved pedestrian crossing facilities, new planted verges, and new street furniture. The carriagway will be narrowed to facilitate these improvements and to provide more space on the footway for non-motorised users.
