This decision is to purchase four family sized properties using funding from the refugee housing programme (for which a Leader’s Urgency report approved a capital budget in July 2023). It is important that the Council can exchange and complete on these acquisitions within the next week so that an urgent allocation can proceed, and the vendors do not begin to seek alternative buyers.
