Residential Electric Vehicle Charging Network Expansion - Concession Contract Award

The Council has successfully secured £4.2 million of funding from the On-street Residential Charging Scheme (ORCS), run by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles. This report now seeks approval for the procurement strategy to expand the residential lamp column charge point network through an award of a concession contract, as recommended in this report, to Joju Limited (Joju) for a period of five years commencing in Summer 2022, with the option for the Council to extend for a further two years.
