Award of Design and Build contract for 43 Beavor Lane and 145 King Street relating to the West King Street Renewal Decant Programme

This report seeks approval to award the contract for refurbishment and fit out works to remodel the ground floor of 145 King Street in order to facilitate the provision of customer facing services, and to create an alternative CCTV Hub at 43 Beavor Lane for all Council CCTV operations.

 

Reasons for urgency:

 

Approval to award the contract for refurbishment and fit out will enable works to the ground floor of 145 King Street and 43 Beavor Lane to begin, allowing programme timescales for vacant possession of the Town Hall site to be met.
