This report seeks cabinet approval to
implement the Counters Creek Flood Alleviation Scheme on various
roads in the Borough, and approval to spend the estimated cost of
the works.
An funding agreement with Thames Water will be signed to fund the
full cost of the works. This is in line with the council’s
commitment to being ruthlessly financially efficient due to the
cost being footed by a developer rather than the council’s
purse.
