Leader's Urgent Decision - Fire Alarm Systems and Wardens at Hartopp and Lannoy Points

The report sets out work to install fire and smoke alarm systems at Hartopp and Lannoy Points. It also sets out costs in relation to the provision of Fire Wardens.

 

Reasons for urgency:

The Council's Senior Fire Assessor inspected three void properties at Hartopp and Lannoy Points and identified issues of compartmentation. The London Fire Brigade were notified and we immediately changed the evacuation procedure from stay put to full and immediate evacuation. In order to support this wardens are required to support the evacuation and installation of smoke alarms.
