This report contains an estimate of the Tax
Base and Collection Rate for 2017/18 which is used in the
calculation of the Band D council tax charge undertaken in the
Revenue Budget Report for 2017/18.
The report also seeks approval to delegate the determination of the
business rates tax base for 2017/18 to the Strategic Finance
Director in consultation with the Lead Member for Finance
