Hammersmith and Fulham is home to a cutting
edge and vibrant arts and culture scene. We want to grow our
dynamic and diverse landscape so that the creativity, production
and skills development of the arts boosts our creative economy. In
this paper we highlight the economic benefits of being a
destination for the creative industries and the health and social
benefits of participating in and creating art - from singing with
dementia patients to offering diversionary activities for troubled
teenagers. We also summarise our progress to date and set out our
suggested actions and priorities for the future.
