Further to the July 2009 Cabinet decision delegating authority to the Director of Community Services following consultation with the Cabinet Member for Community and Children’s Services, to award a three year contract for Substance Misuse Treatment Services (see July Cabinet report attached at Appendix 1), a further decision is needed to establish dates of the contract will be 1st January 2010 to 31st December 2012 with a possibility of two further 12 month extensions. (Not 2009 - 2011 as previously stated).
