Universal Credit - Delivery Partnership Agreement

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions has announced that the national roll out of Universal Credit will start from Hammersmith Job Centre in October 2013.
DWP has asked for the assistance of LBHF in providing support to claimants applying for the new credit.

Initiallly the type of claimants affected will be very restricted, numbering no more than 100 per month. DWP will pay for the services provided and the arrangement will be governed by a Delivery Partnership Agreement between the Council and DWP.

This report brings the agreement before members for their approval.
