Currently, there is a new proposal being set forth by Hammersmith and Fulham that aims to impose seven-day parking controls (Mon-Sun 8:30am - 10pm) on eight streets in our area of zone D. This is a change that seems less about serving the public and more about generating revenue through more controls and penalties. Throughout all my years residing here, the only parking issues we have faced result from local match days. I therefore propose that we implement parking restrictions only on these particular days, instead of subjecting residents and their visitors to a 7-day control.
According to official data from the Hammersmith & Fulham
Council, match days are the primary cause of congestion in these
specified areas, further validating our argument
