This hearing will consider 6 applications for various aspects of the Olympia Exhibition Centre as follows:
1. Application Requested for National Terrace
2. Application Requested for Roof Garden Gin Bar
3. Application Requested for Roof Garden North Terrace
4. Application Requested for Roof Garden North Terrace Mezzanine
5. Application Requested for Roof Garden South Terrace
6. Application Requested for Roof Garden South Terrace Mezzanine
Decision:
National Terrace, Olympia Exhibition Centre, Hammersmith Road, London, W14 8UX (“the Premises”)
The Committee has considered an application for a provisional statement for the following licensable activities under the Licensing Act 2003 (“the Application”);
- The Provision of Late-Night Refreshment- indoors only
- Sale of Alcohol - Both On and Off the Premises
In summary, the Committee decided, after taking into account all of the individual circumstances of this case and the promotion of the four licensing objectives to:
1. Grant the proposed hours the Premises is open to the public as follows:
Mondays to Sundays between 08:00 to 00:00
2. Grant the proposed hours for the provision of licensable activities as follows:
The Provision of Late-Night Refreshment- indoors only
Mondays to Sundays between 23:00 to 23:30
Sale of Alcohol - Both On and Off the Premises
Mondays to Sundays between 10:00 to 23:30
Seasonal/Non-standard timings
All licensable activities extended on New Year’s Eve to 02:00 on New Year’s Day, with the premises closed 30 minutes thereafter.
3. Attach proposed conditions by the Applicant
The licensable activities granted as referred above would come into effect when an application for a premises licence will be submitted and approved by the Council. The premises construction shall be completed in a manner which substantially complies with the schedule of works referred to in the Application and the accompanying plans.
A copy of this Committee’s full decision including setting out details of this decision together with its reasons will be sent to the parties forthwith.
If the Applicant or any person who has made a relevant representation is unhappy with the terms of the provisional statement issued, they are entitled to appeal to the magistrates’ court within 21 days from the date of notification of the full decision.
