Decision:
The Committee has considered an application for the grant of a premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 for the sale of alcohol both on and off the premises (“the Application”).
In summary, the Committee has decided, after taking into account all of the individual circumstances of this case and the promotion of the four licensing objectives to:
1. Grant the application in part by modifying the proposed hours of operation as follows:
Sale of Alcohol – Both On and Off the Premises
Monday to Sunday 11:00 - 22:30
Hours open to public:
Monday to Sunday 07:00 - 23:00
4. Add the conditions to the Licence as proposed by the Police and agreed by the Applicant
5. Add the conditions suggested by the Noise and Nuisance Officer and agreed by the Applicant
6. Add conditions imposed by the Committee regarding litter, record of complaints and meeting with local residents, use of electric vehicles after 20:00, waste disposal
This licence becomes operational with immediate effect. If problems are experienced, then an application for a review of the premises licence can be made.
A copy of this Committee’s full decision including its reasons and the full text of the conditions added to the licence will be sent to the parties forthwith.
If the Applicant is unhappy with the decision, they are entitled to appeal to the magistrates’ court within 21 days from the date of notification of the full decision.
