Issue - meetings

1.    That the Cabinet approves a waiver of the requirement to prepare a Procurement Strategy and of the usual tendering procedures set out in Contract Standing Orders 9 and 10, on the grounds that the circumstances of the proposed contract are covered by a legislative exemption, as set out in Contract Standing Order 3.

2.    That the Cabinet approves the Council entering into a contract with Capital Letters Limited until 31^st March 2022 for the procurement of private rented accommodation to prevent homelessness, and temporary accommodation at a cost of between £1,500 and £2,000 per property sourced by the company (funded from the Temporary Accommodation earmarked reserve) plus the employment costs of two members of staff (funded from existing revenue budgets within The Economy Department).
