Decision:

Decision taken by the Cabinet Member on: 13 February 2015

 

1.    To approve the grant of  a 125 years lease of Greenside Primary School to The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust in accordance with the Academies Act 2010. 

 

2.    To note that the Council will enter into a Commercial Transfer Agreement transferring the schools assets, contracts and staff from Greenside Primary School to The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust. 

 

3.    To approve the grant of a separate lease of the site manager’s house to The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust for a term expiring in accordance with clause 5.2 in the report.

 

These recommendations are dependent on the formal funding agreement between the Academy Trust and the Secretary of State.
