To award a contract for parking suspension system.

To direct award the Suspensions system contract to Farthest Gate Limited through the G-Cloud 13 framework for a new parking suspension system. The new contract would be for 2 years with one optional 1-year extension. The contract cost will be £187k in the first year and then £72k per annum. This results in a total contract value of £331k. The contract will run not including extensions from August 2024 to August 2026.

A new parking suspension system will contribute to streamlining current processes.  The existing contract is also coming to the end of life so this award acts as risk mitigation.

An attempt to carry out a full tender has been completed by the service but was unable to source any suitable contractors. The new proposal is to directly award this contract through the Crown Commercial Service G-Cloud 13 framework.
