Decision:

Reasons for the decision:

To accelerate the recovery of the Responsive Repairs and Voids service, relating to complex repairs and disrepair works.

Alternative options considered:

There are a range of procurement options available to procure providers of these works:

·         Competitive tender

·         Mini-competition from a suitable framework or Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)

·         Direct award from a suitable framework

Direct Award from a suitable framework would be the quickest option. That said Core Projects Ltd are not signed up to any frameworks. Core Projects Ltd could join a DPS however these do not allow Direct Awards.
