Purpose:
This report seeks approval of an advance
working capital payment to be made to Family Support (FS) for
one-month delivery of service in August. This value has been
calculated to facilitate payment of FS salaries for this month only
and excludes the 16 framework contracts due to novate to Family
Support in quarter 2 (July – September 2018).
Reasons for the decision:
The contract value for Family Support is near finalisation, and will be signed off imminently after consultation with Councillors. A reconciliation of payments already made to, or on behalf of, FS will be undertaken in advance of the next payment to the service following finalisation of the contract value and signing of the Head Contract.
