Approval To Modify Three Homeless Supported Accommodation Contracts

Purpose:

Three homeless contracts expire on 31/3/16. A procurement exercise has commenced but may not have concluded when the current contracts expire. Therefore it is necessary to extend the current arrangements for a limited period.

Decision:

1.1       That approval be given to modify the contracts by the providers named in the exempt report, in order to extend the current contract arrangements for a period of three months. 

 

1.2       That the contracts are to be on the existing terms and will run from 1 April 2016 to 30 June 2016 at a total cost as set out in Table 2 in the exempt report, be noted.

 

1.3       That in the event the award and implementation of the new contracts is delayed beyond 30th June 2016, the arrangements for the existing contracts to continue on a rolling monthly basis until contract award and implementation until no later than 31 March 2017, at a potential additional monthly cost as set out in Table 3 in the exempt report, be agreed.
