Purpose:
Approval of an advance working capital payment
of £310,000 to the Family Support Service to facilitate
payment of Family Support salaries for the month of July
2018.
Decision:
This report recommends that the Strategic Director of Finance and Governance, after consultation with and agreement from both the Cabinet Member for Children and Education and the Cabinet Member for Health and Adult Social Care, approve, whilst awaiting finalisation of the contract value for the Family Support Service, a second advance working capital payment of £310,000 be made to facilitate payment of Family Support salaries for the month of July 2018. This value excludes payment of framework contracts within scope of Family Support which are due to novate post July 2018.
