Purpose:

The council last updated its telephony network equipment in 1999 with a major refresh funded by a capital spend of over £1 million. This paper proposes that the council installs new desk telephone handsets, secures telephony hardware support and licences procurement and upgrade the Openscape Unified Communications system.

Decision:

1.1.       To approve the purchase of new telephony hardware and services with associated managed services from BT, for a one-off cost as set out in the exempt part of the agenda.

1.2.        To approve the programme management services from Agilisys, for a one-off cost as set out in the exempt part of the agenda.
