This report updates Cabinet on the major strain placed on the council’s finances by the Covid-19 pandemic.


Reasons for urgency;

The Covid-19 pandemic is significantly impacting on the council’s financial position as it seeks to support our residents, communities and businesses. The financial position is fast moving and will change due to an expected second wave. An urgent update is provided on the current year response and as key consideration for the 2021/22 budget process.
