Leader's Urgent Decision - Authority To Waive The Contract Standing Orders And Award A Contract To St Mungo's To Deliver A Rough Sleeper Navigator Service

Funding has been received from MHCLG to establish a new Rough Sleeper navigator service. The service needs to be set up quickly and expenditure is over £100K.

 

Reasons for urgency:

The service needs to be in place by 1.8.19 in line with MHCLG funding requirements. The Council only received notification of the funding in late May 2019 so there is insufficient time to take through the Cabinet timetable.
