Procurement strategy for the SEND Information, Advice and Support Services (SENDIASS) contract, procurement of the Mediation and Dispute Resolution services, the direct award for the provision of SEND Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) and SEND Mediation and Dispute Resolution Services for an interim period of five months

Decision:

1)    To approve the procurement strategy for the SEND Information, Advice and Support Services (SENDIASS) contract.  The contract will be let for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years, commencing 1st September 2021. The contract value for 3 years is estimated at £210,000, if extensions are applied, the total value of the contract will be £350,000.

2)    To approve the procurement of Mediation and Dispute Resolution services for a period of 3 years commencing 1st September 2021, with an option to extend for a further 2 years.  The contract value for 3 years for this service is estimated at £45,000, if extensions are applied, the total value of the contract will be £75,000.

3)    To approve the direct award for the provision of SEND Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) to Insights for an interim period of five months, commencing on 1st April 2021 and ending on 31st August 2021 for the sum of £26,354. A waiver for the Contracts Standing Order has been granted.  

4)    To approve the direct award for the provision of SEND Mediation and Dispute Resolution Services to Kids London, for an interim period of five months, commencing on 1st April 2021 and ending on 31st August 2021, for the total sum of £6,206.

21/02/2021 - Approval of the Procurement Strategy for the restoration, repair and refurbishment works at the Grade II Listed Ravenscourt Park Tea House ref: 4259    Recommendations Approved

The external repair and refurbishment of the Grade II Listed Building at Ravenscourt Park Tea House.

16/02/2021 - Authority to award contract extension for a further year providing to the maximum contract period of 2 years for the managed services for temporary agency resources ref: 4256    Recommendations Approved

Managed services for temporary agency resources - approval to utilise previously agreed one year extension

It is recommended that approval be given for the extension of the Customer Agreement in respect of Managed Services for Temporary Agency Resources (the Contract) for a period of 12 months, commencing 1 July 2021 and ending on 30th June 2022. The cost of the 12-month extension is £23.5m. The maximum value of the Contract remains at £47,000,000.

10/02/2021 - Procurement Strategy: Stock Condition Surveys ref: 4255    Recommendations Approved

The report seeks approval to procure a specialist supplier to undertake stock condition surveys of the Council's assets and in particular a 100% survey of its HRA dwelling stock programmed over two years, incurring expenditure of up to £1.5m.

  1. Approves the Procurement Strategy as detailed in Appendix 1 (Procurement Strategy) of this report for the procurement and delivery of a survey of 100% of the Council’s HRA dwelling stock.

 

  1. Delegates authority to the Strategic Director of The Economy Department to amend the proposed scope of services for operational reasons, where such amendments can be contained within the overall approved budget envelope and available resources.
