This report seeks approval to continue with both the COVID-19 outbreak delegated powers to the Chief Executive and the succession plan for the Leadership of the Council up to the 1st of April 2021.

3.    That recommendations 1 and 2 be subject to review by the Leader by the 1st of April 2021.

2.    To appoint Mae Architects Ltd (Mae) as the Lead Architect to head the Consultancy Team (identified below at 1.4) for the White City Central scheme.

 

3.    To note that the decision to appoint Mae has been made in consultation with members of the White City Residents’ Advisory Panel (WCRAP).

03/09/2020 - APPOINTMENT OF EMPLOYER’S AGENT ON WHITE CITY CENTRAL SCHEME ref: 4181    Recommendations Approved

Appointment of the recommended Employer’s Agent for the White City Central scheme.

1.    To approve that Appendix 1 of this report is not for publication on the basis that they contain information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information) as set out in paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

 

2.     To appoint Arcadis LLP as Cost Consultant and Employer’s Agent for the White City Central scheme through to RIBA stage 7; at a total cost of £640,000 with a break clause after RIBA stages 1 and 3, such that the approval extends only to a commitment of at-risk expenditure up to the end of RIBA stage 1 of £68,000 and RIBA stage 3 of a further £87,000. 

 

3.    To approve a 15% contingency of £23,250 for the services to be delivered by the Cost Consultant and Employer’s Agent for the White City Central scheme up to the end of RIBA stage 3.

03/09/2020 - Future of Pan-London Mortuary Management ref: 4179    Recommendations Approved

This report seeks urgent approval to sign an inter-authority legal agreement which commits London local authorities to fund the temporary mortuary provision up to March 2021 and to pay the Council’s proportion of the Pan London mortality management costs into the London Borough of Camden’s sinking fund by close of business on Friday, 4 September 2020.
